Back from breeze 1/13/13

This is just a quick review of our 6-day Breeze Cruise

 

I though the ship was beautiful!

 

We had 4 balconies on the Lido Deck. Great locations for a family cruise.

 

Service was alright but not remarkable. This was true throughout the ship.

Room service very slow. Only used it a couple of times. Gave up on morning coffee after waiting about an hour, went and got my own. Only reason I want room service for coffee is to get the pot.

 

Shows were not good. Live entertainment was very good. Loved Consuela in the Ocean Plaza and also other venues, i.e. Limelight Lounge, etc. Singers in the Red Frog and Lido were great. Comedy (saw only family shows by choice) was very good. Most of the entertainment staff were very good. The karaoke opportunities were many and is a great way to enjoy family time together.

 

Food was good but not remarkable. Didn't see any carved fruit on the buffets (probably a good place to cut expenses).

 

Did go to Fat Jimmy's Seaside BBQ. This was very good.

 

Others have spoken about the floors in the Lido restaurant areas being slippery. This is very true. Be careful.

 

Deck parties were fun.

 

Most people we saw on elegant evenings were dressed very nicely.

 

Carnival still does a great job. I will sail again with them.
