str123456789 Posted January 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Is there a seperate check in line in NYC for platinum guests or is it just the regular latitudes line? As platinum do you get a lower number to board than others who arrive earlier as other categories?
NYteacher Posted January 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Both gold and platinum get to go on a much shorter line to check in. I don't know about the numbers as we were able to board immediately after getting our cards. FYI, the line is all the way on the right as you walk in. xenagurl Posted January 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2013 There is a separate line for Gold and Platinum members. Which can be quite long but definitely shorter than the other line. We didn't get there early enough for a number, so as soon as we'd completely checked in we went on board. Where the line is and where you board depends on which ship and which day. Last month for our sailing it was all the way in the back of the terminal on the left hand side. Just ask one of the attendants where you should go when you show up and they'll direct you to the correct area for that particular ship and boarding. Bon Voyage! :)
Richpontone Posted January 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 22, 2013 its shortest. From 1 to 2:30 pm, lines get long. Try getting to the pier by 11:30 am, and you will probably breeze onto the ship within a half an hour. And you will be in time, to go to lunch at the MDR, which closes for lunch at 2:30 pm. The lunch at the MDR is far superior to the one served at the pool side buffet. There, the lines are long and the food not as tasty.
