Rare crewsweeper Posted January 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2013 I think "askimdog" was intending on eating there last year, but may not have made it back from an excursion in time or found another spot. Can't find his post. Reviews on other sites are generally pretty good. It's about as "authentic" Belize as you'll probably find outside of having a local take you around to a couple of divier places. Not the "chicken-rice-beans" stand-in for Belizean food on excursions nor the more tourist-oriented "Belizean" seafood dishes served on the pier (and I'm not knocking the Wet Lizard's conch fritters and meat pasties; I try to have some every time we're in Belize). Easy walk from the Tourist Village.
