Sandy Lane Resort Barbados...anyone been?

This is supposedly one of the most prized resorts in the entire caribbean. The travel channel listed it as their #2 pick in the top 10 caribbean resorts. It looks beautiful and the beach is on the western side of the island. I was wondering has anyone done a daypass there or been there before? Thanks. icon_smile.gif

As far as I know, Sandy lane doesn't do day-passes.

And yes, it is one of the most beautiful resorts in the Caribbean. US$6000/night on season.

Try the hotels in the St. Lawrence Gap for day passes.

HI there,

I will absolutly agree with Mr. Barbados. Not the resort for a DayPass. Very exclusive. .

Being true ParrotHeads, I might reommend spending the day at the BoatYard, if you want a day on the beach. Great Beach, food, music etc. and depending on when you come, you might find it will be very quiet.

Not sure what hotels allow for day passes, but why not try and take a tour and see a bit of the island instead of hanging on the beach.. or do a morning tour and head to Weisers on the Bay for the afternoon.

Have a great time.

I was there a number of years ago and actually feel the beach at Crane's is MUCH prettier. IF you want to spend the day at a resort on the west side you may want to check out The Royal Pavillion. It is a beautiful upscale resort and if I am correct within walking distance via the beach of Sandy Lane. You could then at least walk around Sandy Lane and give it a look.
