excited1stcruise Posted January 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2013 I was doing a mock booking to check prices when I noticed a coveted hump cabin was available. Got on the horn to RCI and switched cabins. Now I was already excited as this was our first balcony but now I am doing the happy dance as I can finally see what all the excitement is with a hump cabin. rednancy1 Posted January 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Congratulations on your hump cabin. They are our favorite. I hope you love it. :)
phoenix1181 Posted January 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Hope you got center hump or one of the ones forward of center? The location can't be beat but we hated the lack of view in a cabin on the backside of the hump.
paggerscorvette Posted January 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2013 You will love your "hump" cabin. We have had 2, and are really spoiled by the wonderful views.

JimAOk1945 Posted January 26, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 26, 2013 We cruised in our first hump cabin last month. Loved every minute and used it a lot!

papaflamingo Posted January 26, 2013 #8 Share Posted January 26, 2013 We are 1 cabin forward from the center hump cabin. Now what to do for the next 290+ days? Perfect. You are over the side of the ship so you get a great perspective as she slices through the water. If you are on the side to the pier in port you get a great view of the docking process. On certain ships the hump balcony is bigger. I'm with everyone else... I'll take the hump anytime if close to center. As you get to the end of the hump the balcony takes on an odd shape so needs a bit more thought.
