mdod Posted January 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2013 We will be on the NCL Dawn (docked at Punta Langosta) from 8-5. I was going to go snorkeling at Money Bar or Palancar Reef and then I read a bunch of rave reviews for the America's Cup regatta. That sounded like a fun and unique opportunity so we booked it for 8:30 am. The excursion info says it's 3 hrs so I'm hoping we can fit in some other activity for the afternoon. Would we have time to get out to Palanacar Reef and back? Is it significantly better than Money Bar? OTOH, we've got snorkel plans for Roatan, Belize City and Costa Maya so I'm open to suggestions for other activities too. We're just not into shopping or laying on the beach. I'm not worried about lunch. We'll have something to carry us over until we get back to the ship if we can't find a quick bite to eat somewhere. sublarry Posted January 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2013 I did the America's Cup challenge in St. Marteen and it was the best excursion I have done. I love watching the races on TV and it was great to be on a boat that was in the race.
sometimes sailor Posted January 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Had a blast, but I worked my ass off during the racing!
