Don't leave Barbados without....

chilldowns

Recommended Posts

We have been twice and had good experiences both times. The first time we hired a taxi who just took my husband and me around the island for the whole day and showed us the tourist sites as well as some "off the beaten path" things. That was great. The last time we took a cab to The Boatyard. It was a really nice beach with a lot of activities. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the downtown shopping area of Bridgetown. It was much too crowded, trafficky, and "big city" for me. IMHO if you miss that, you haven't missed a thing.

chilldowns:

Don't leave Barbados without:

- Touring the east side of the island (less populated, excellent scenery)

- Eating a flying fish sandwich (there is an outdoor bar at the port that makes them)

-snorkeling at Folkstone Park
