L.A. to Hawaii

Has anyone sailed from L.A. to Hawaii in mid to late February? What were the sea conditions? We are thinking of booking the Island Princess for that time and we are concerned about rough seas.

We sailed Feb 18th this year on LA roundtrip. On the 19th it was westerly winds and moderate seas. On the 20th we had NW near gale force winds. From then on it got better as all other sea days were light or gentle breezes. This is how it was listed on the Ship Log. We were able to go to all ports and had no problem in the tender ports. The cruise just prior to ours missed Lahaina due to sea conditions leaving Nawiliwili. Noon temperatures ranged from 59 on the 19th to 75 in Honolulu. The Island Princess is a great ship and the entire 15 days was money well spent.

We were on Island in early Feb. and it was rough and quite cold.Wouldn't do it again.
