RCI Late-Booking Perks!

My husband and I are sailing on Navigator in April on a 15 day TA to Rome. We booked back in June thinking we were getting the best price, cabin, etc. Now we find out that RCI offered a $55 per day drink package for 2 for new reservations last week! This was offered RIGHT AFTER our final payment deadline!

I contacted Crown & Anchor at RCI and was told there was nothing they could do for us--not even an upgrade! I'm sure this was offered for other cruises as well. I sure will think twice before I book early again!

 

Anyone else upset about this?

I know you are past final payment, but, did you check for price drops along the way, you can get those up until final apyment. I wouldn't be upset about this, the cruise isn't selling and they're trying to lure people in. If you drank that much, you would have booked the package anyway, right? Relax and enjoy the cruise! Bon Voyage! :D
