QM2 Queens Grill Suite 11150 & 11128

We are trying to book two QG suites for the 2013 holiday cruise and have been told that the only suites available are 11128 and 11150. We have taken a number of cruises on the QM2, always Queens Grill accommodations, and have always been on deck 9 near the concierge lounge. These two accomodations appear to be orphan QG suites on deck 11. Has anyone booked these cabins and, if so, how was the experience?

Do not book 11.150, you will be very disappointed.

Those cabins are poorly located (read: lousy) and are QG castaways. 11 Deck is a Britannia deck.

 

On a recent cruise, a friend, who was upgraded to one of these cabins from the PG he booked, literally flipped out.

 

If you are a Cunard regular, press your travel agent to get in touch with customer relations in California to see if something can be done. I am sure there are always staterooms held in inventory.
