travelpeon Posted January 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2013 I hadn't come across the #595 FLL to Downtown/Brickell Miami bus on the forums before or mentioned elsewhere and wanted to post it for those who have early morning arrivals or late afternoon departures for the reverse route. It seems most useful for weekday red-eye arrivals if you're traveling light, especially since SAS, QLS, and similar start pickup around 10 am. Sorry for the repost if it has been mentioned before. A google maps search recently showed me this $2.35 per person ~ 50 min ride option. The 595 is a Broward county Express bus that operates Monday-Friday Southbound 5:34 -8:29 am from FLL Tri-Rail to Miami Northbound 3:18 - 6:52 pm from Downtown Flagher St & SE 1st st or 3:05 - 6:40 pm from Brickell Metrorail towards FLL airport. Free shuttle between FLL airport and Ft. Lauderdale airport tri-rail station in Dania Beach Links: Schedule http://www.broward.org/BCT/MapsAndSchedules/Pages/MapsAndSchedules.aspx More info http://595expressbus.com/ See the Frequently Asked Questions link FLA 1 Ft Lauderdale tri-rail station to airport schedule http://www.tri-rail.com/rider_info/bus_shuttle/schedules_pdf/FLA1.pdf "The 595 Express Bus fleet is comprised of new hybrid buses equipped with free WiFi, hi-back seats for passenger comfort, and 12-volt power outlets for charging electronic communication equipment." I haven't used this bus service yet but think I'll take it during my next trip. GoShuttle is the normal shuttle company that operates during the early morning hours. A similar ride during the same hours would be approximately 24 for per person.
