Just got an email from Carnival regarding the stop in the port of Manta, Ecuador.....

Hi there,

 

Betcha can't wait for your South American cruise on Sunday, which is why we want to provide you some information regarding our itinerary for your sailing on the Carnival Splendor.

 

Due to operational considerations, we have modified our time in the port of Quito (Manta), Ecuador. We will now arrive at 7:00 AM and are scheduled to depart at 6:30 PM.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and thank you for your understanding.

 

Most importantly, we look forward to welcoming you aboard the beautiful Carnival Splendor for a FUN and memorable cruise vacation!

What were the original times?

I don't remember exactly....I think it was to arrive at 5 a.m.

 

I don't mind the adjustment....as long as they DO go there!

I went to the "Manage My Cruise" on carnival.com.....but the itinerary isn't showing at all, right now. Probably because it has to be revised.

I thought it was going to be one of those "Don't show up to check in until 1:00 p.m." things....I don't like it when they start messing with ports...*LOL*
