All-inclusive near Ocho Rios

Are there any all-inclusives beaches in Ocho-Rios?

there are all inclusive resorts with beaches.

jamaica for a day dot com has a lot of options. they're cheaper than booking directly with the hotel (and alot cheaper than going to one on a ship excursion). they also provide transportation.

we went through them to the jewel resort at dunn's river. the beach was nice, we went on a catamaran ride, alcohol was plentiful and we had two loungers right on the beach. the buffet closed while we were there, and we hadn't been told the buffet hours. so we missed out on that but were able to eat at the burgers & dogs grill and the pizza place.

How did you like the jewel resort? Do you have to pay for the activities? Was there snorkeling there. I saw on jamaica for a day that they have 2 places to go. Do you know what the differences are ? Thank you for a reply

We liked the resort a lot. The actual swimming area is roped off and not too big. There's plenty of beach area with loungers. There's two pools that also have loungers and a hot tub. The only disappointment was that we weren't informed about the buffet hours so it was closed by the time we were ready to eat. We had pizza instead. They had catamarans and kayaks that were free to use. I don't think they had snorkeling, but we didn't ask.

We were at The Jewel Dunn's River. The main difference between the Dunn's River location & the Runaway Bay Beach Resort is that Dunn's River is adults only. No kids at Dunn's! Also, Runaway Bay Beach Resort has a glass bottom boat with free rides.

It was kind of expensive and unfortunatley we weren't in port for long, but if we had a longer day in Jamaica again, we'd probably return.

Have you seen the all inclusive from Island Marketing? https://jamaicacruiseexcursions.com/OchoRiosBeachBreak.htm It looks really nice. I haven't been, we are going to Falmouth this time

This is what we are booked for, hope it is as nice as the pictures look !!

When are you both visiting this all inclusive?

I'm curious to know if it was worth the $60 and whether or not transportation was in included or not.
