Chacchoben Extreme or Chacchoben with a little beach time?

We have decided to go to the ruins with Native Choice. We are trying to decide whether we want to just go back to the little town after the ruins, hit the beach there and have lunch or do the chacchoben extreme tour with time at the Bacalar Lagoon and lunch there instead of the beach.

 

Can anyone who has seen both provide some insights?
