First River Cruise

Just booked a river cruise with Uniworld, River Prrincess, and did so with what I think is a good deal because it was in one of the lower cabins, 109 to be exact, and was wondering if any of you have had any experrience with that cabin. Thanks, Bob from TX

As to lower level on river boats - My thought is that you are only in there to sleep. I would rather save the extra money and buy a couple bottles of wine with it. There is something to be said about a French balcony...but you will get better views on the top deck.

We have not travelled on the River Princess - but have travelled on the River Queen --> and it has an almost identical deck plan. I believe the River Princess does have the benefit of an elevator down to the lowest level.

The only real difference in the rooms is the size of the window (all rooms the same size except for the suites).

We usually travel lowest category (ie: Aquarium class) and have been very happy with that decision. We were in Cabin 102 - right beside the Laundry - and it was very quiet. We have found that there is very little traffic on the lower level....
