ronin2077 Posted February 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2013 Going to be visiting the Cayman Islands and want to swim with the stingrays. It looks like fun, but we do not want to be on a boat with 100 other people. Any recommendations for a company that offers good trips with no more than 25 people. Thanks

Have fun!!! +1 There're lots and lots of operators going to the Stingray City sandbar. Soto, Marvin, etc. But most of them take more than 25 people. If you want less than 25 people, suggest you hire private charter boat.
Sunny Visor Girl Posted February 17, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2013 We did a trip with Dexter a couple of years ago. I think there were about 20 or 25 on our boat. Before we got to the Stingray area we spent about 45 minutes near the reef -- we actually found this portion of the excursion more interesting than the stingrays ... suezyq50 Posted February 21, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2013 We have used Captain Marvin's twice. Very easy to find. Great excursion.
i5trucker Posted March 30, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2013 Captain Marvin is the best. Small tours, excellent guides. Two snorkel stops when we went in Feb. 2012. As a matter of fact, it was my favorite excursion of the whole cruise. We booked it thru shore trips dot com.

LounVal Posted April 2, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 2, 2013 Last time we went out with Capt Soto. There were 5 of us! We had a great time. Each of us were able to spend ample time with the rays. All the other boats coming in while we were there were over flowing with passengers. The snorkeling site he brought us too was also very good. Snorkel Dawg Posted April 2, 2013 #9 Share Posted April 2, 2013 You cannot beat a tour with only 5 people! :)
