Good place for informal meet and great on the Legend

We are going on the Legend in a couple weeks and I wanted to set up an informal meet and greet on embarkation day. But I have never been on this ship and don't know what a good spot would be. We are looking for a spot with chairs and/or tables and a bar. I am not sure what places usually have things going on at night already or might be booked for a private meet and greet. I was thinking maybe lobby bar? or one of the pool bar areas? Probably around 9pm. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

We had our informal M&G in the Casino after the Muster Drill. The games were not yet open but the bar and bar-waiters were. There were plenty of tables and chairs and it was pretty private as the actual Casino games were still closed. It was a pay-bar and since we were the only ones occupying the area, the staff was knocking themselves out to give us good service.

Another good area, is near the window seating on the Promenade-Deck 2 near the Casino bar. This area has tables and chairs. The bar waiters will also come out to this area to take orders.

Those are great ideas for informal roll call meets! I've always seem to have attended mine out at lido bar, aft. Sometimes it is hard to find people. But then, other times they wear beads, or I recognize an avatar picture. In my experience, these lido aft pool/bar M&G's usually have a low turnout. I think folks just get caught in the many things to see and do on the ship.

I'd have to agree the Serenity Deck. When we were on the Legend the Serenity Deck wasn't crowded at all, just people walking by to do a quick looksie for the most part on Embarkation Day

There might be some kids though. And I thought the serenity deck was for adults only, right? Does anyone know what time the casino opens up? Is it based on where you the ship is at? Thanks for your suggestions.

When we were on the Legend, it was open right after the Mustur drill. We were just leaving port so the casino games were not open but the Bar area and waiters were there. It was probably around 4pm or so.

When we were on the Legend, it was open right after the Mustur drill. We were just leaving port so the casino games were not open but the Bar area and waiters were there and serving. It was uncrowded and a decent place to visit with our r/c. It was probably around 4pm or so when we got to the bar area. This gave folks plenty of time to visit before their dining times.

I believe that the ship has to be out in international waters before they can open the Casino for playing. That would put it at least 3 hours from sailaway as it takes at least two hours just to get under the Skyway Bridge and then it has to go a little farther to get out into Intl water.

We too, have always had our informal "Meet-n-Greet" right after the lifeboat drill, at the aft pool bar area, or as it's now referred to, "Serenity Deck Bar". No problems there. Easy to find, and a wide open area to enjoy the sail away from. I don't think the bar area is considered the "Serenity Deck", so there should be no problems with young folks being there as well. It's always worked for us!

Have a GREAT cruise.
