Panama Canal - Costa Rica What to do?

SAN

Recommended Posts

I am posting this question in the other forums hoping to get more people to see this thread.

I was planning to take a zip line excursion, but my physical therapist did not think is was a good ideas considering I have a rotator cuff tear and a slap tear, boo hoo. So I am thinking what else can I do.

In our party there is my husband, myself and my developmentally delayed daughter. My daughter doesn't do well walking many miles, my husband is worried about getting bit by insects, taking Deet with us. I told him there were more mosquitoes in Yellowstone that on this trip. We have done this cruise before and I refuse to stay on board ship.

Any suggestions?

Going to assume you are on a full transit and therefore are speaking of the stop in the Puntarenas area. A trip to the Ox Cart factory or the Tarcoles River cruise where you can take in some wildlife including some very large crocodiles (viewed very securely, but never the less in their natural state:)) would be something on the low impact side. You probably are correct about more mosquitoes in Yellowstone! I won't say don't take bug spray, but I really don't think you'll need it. When bugs are present it usually around sunrise/sunset when there is little wind.
