Capt Warner due on QM2 this month!

Hi everyone, I can just confirm that Captain Bernard Warner will assume command of the QM2 on June 26th from current Master Ron Warwick.

 

Also, Staff Captain Ed Perrin (formally of the Dawn, Coral, Island and Grand Princess) will join the ship on June 9th.

 

Senior Doctor (formally of Golden and Diamond Princess) will also join the ship on June 9th.

 

Command of QE2 will pass from Ian McNaught to Nick Bates on June 29th.

Andy: I understand that Captain Warner is a Yorkshireman and a highly-regarded officer. Comments on other threads praise his sense of humor and his social skills, as well as his professionalism. Do you have any idea whether he shares Commodore Warwick's interest in the history of Cunard and the North Atlantic liners?

Is Commodore Warwick going on vacation at that time, or has he too been "loaned" to Princess?

 

I think that I'll be disappointed if he is not on the QM2 for her innaugural voyage 'round the Horn!

Capt. Warner is on the Golden Princess this week, I have a friend sailing on it...started out on June 1st, for the Capitals of Europe cruise from Southhampton.
