I have my 6th cruise booked and I wondered how everyone else pays fro their cruise.

 

Do you pay for the whole thing when you book?

 

Do you pay each month?

 

Do you make your down payment and wait till the last possible day to pay the final payment?

Half up front, full payment two months prior to embarkation. It has always worked well for me.

Put Deposit down when booking. Pay the rest when final payment is due.

 

I would rather keep my money until the last moment :)

We paid minimun deposit of 250 per person (six of us). Then the day it was due, (May 5) went to TA, asked if price difference. She called Carnival and was told no. We paid what we owed. However, one month to the day, June 5, TA called us and said Carnival was offereing us an upgrade for each room, from OV and inside, to Penthouse Suite and OV. :D

I deposit and make weekly payments. I do try to get in on sales where we only need 25.00 pp deposit. Its easier to come up with 100.00 then it is to come up with 500.

First cruise was a gift

Second cruise - booked three weeks out, paid in full

Third cruise - Down payment in April, just made final payment yesterday (actually one day earlier than final date ;) )
