MArseilles-got a day after the cruise. thinking... Nice/Cannes

Does anyone know of any small tours out of Marseilles to Nice and Cannes? we are 2 people but dont mind sharing a tour as the private tours are not very cost effective for 2?

have no time restrictions as we fly out the day after.

Well you have lots of options, especially if you are not absolutely sold on tours (remember, tour is a 4 letter word). If you simply want to visit Nice and/or Cannes there are excellent train connections that can get you to either of those cities (we highly recommend visiting Nice and have a much lower recommendation for Cannes). Another option is to simply rent a car and drive yourself wherever you please. Marseille also gives you excellent access to much of Provence and perhaps you want to consider places like Aix en Provence and/or Avignon as an option. We could fill a book on Provence (but many others have already done it) which is one of the best regions in France.
