Raiatea Circle Island Highlights

Discover the World of Pearls

Hi Karen,

I just came back from the 1/27 sailing and it was great. I did the "Discover the World of Pearls" and unfortunately you do not have any other option to go to the Paul Gaugin Pearl Farm unless you can get the one taxi on the island. As the pearl farm offers a free tour and pick up, I tried to book with them directly but when a ship is in port, they do not offer this. You have to go through the ship. Stay on the waiting list and be at the dock at the times the bus is leaving to see if a spot comes available. If lucky you can get on and maybe without paying Oceania. We did the Taha'a land and sea excursion in Raiatea and it is very good. These are the only two Oceania excursions that we did, the rest were private. Have a great trip and if I can be of further help let me know.

Cheers,

Tropiclady
