Anything special to do in George Town on a budget?

I was wondering if there anything to do in George Town while on a budget. I think we settled on going to cemetery beach and then back to port. can anyone help me here?

A beach day can easily be done on a budget. Public buses (from the depot on Edward St next to the library) can take you to any part of Seven Mile Beach for only US$2.50 per person, each way.

 

In George Town itself, the Cayman National Museum is right on the waterfront.

 

You can snorkel right from shore at Eden Rock just south of the tender piers, or a very short north of the tender piers at the wreck of the Cali.

The marked beach access is to the right of the cemetery. Please walk down the path rather than through the cemetery itself.

Grand Cayman actually has a great public transportation website. You should check it out before you leave just so you have an easier time figuring out which bus and how long it takes to get to different places. Here's the link!
