Sea day duty free sale

I was going to get a bottle of vodka to drink in the cabin on Dream, is it better (cheaper) to get it at Gatwick or on the Monday sea day?

This time next week we will be on our way!!!:)

I believe it will be cheaper on board, on the sea day when they have the discount....I dont know about vodka? but tobacco is definitely cheaper on ship than at gatwick

 

you can buy tobacco/liquor cheaper in some of the ports....but there’s a lot of fakes around on some islands

On Celebration 31st Jan, the Smirnoff vodka was 8.50 on sale day, however they did not have any!!! It was later in the day that we stopped by and thought they had maybe just sold out but they did not have stocks when they opened. There were a few bottles of the lime flavoured vodka so we bought that (still at 8.50) and really enjoyed it, so not all was lost!

Thanks for that we will wait until the sea day then, although it's a long time to wait, from Sunday when we board till Monday lol. I think we can manage that one.............
