Luggage question

I was wondering about luggage. The carnival site says all baggage must be locked. Having read that, if somehow somebody packed beer in our luggage:rolleyes: how would Carnival know? And we would like to take some soda, do we have to carry this on, or check it in, or does it matter. We saw a rolling cooler at BJs wholesale club, but didn't know if we could check it or carry it. Maybe with all the tossing around, we should carry it on? There are 4 of us, would a 6-pack of soda each be accepted? Thanks everyone!

Can't answer about the beer.

 

Soft drinks (and wine) are allowed to be brought on board. Lots of folks use the rolling coolers. A 6-pk. of soft drinks per person is reasonable.
