bbwex Posted February 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2013 I would ask this on the Ports of Call section. You will get a much faster reply and likely several responses.
2travelers Posted February 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2013 anybody have any recomendations for Edinburgh and Dublin private drivers? Thanks a bunch ;) Hi Claudia. I think I remember you from a previous cruise, I guess it wasn't for British Isles. In any event I think we had some of the best guides for that cruise. This is the information I gave to several others going to the British Isles. These are guides, not just drivers: Dublin - Richard Flanagan - RichardFlannigan@ireland.com http://www.**************** Most of the tours in Dublin were walking tours. Since a few in our group had problems walking, I had a tough time finding a guide. Richard was a real find. A wry sense of humor and so knowledgeable it was scary. He took us all over Dublin. In the end, some in our group realized that walking in the town of Dublin would have been quite easy. None of the broken ground and/or cobblestone you find all over. A walk through Trinity College would have been nice. Richard will do it all. Edinburgh - Gordon Ross. Great guide and a ton of fun. I booked him first because he has such wonderful reviews I really wanted to get him. Great itinerary. http://www.greatscot-tours.com If you need any other guides you can post or email me at rwcaac at yahoo dot com. I booked with these guides very early, especially Gordon Ross. If you are going this summer he may be booked. Good luck. Ronnie
