Grand Cayman beaches

What to do? 4 adults and 4 kids age 4-8. Want to hit the beach for part of a day. What would you recommend?

Seven Mile beach. Get on a bus in front of the Port Authority. If I recall correctly there are $3, $4, and $5 stops. Each one further up the beach. There are numerous concessions along the beach: food, rentals, water rides.

Public Beach would be a good option for the kids and just 200 feet up the beach is Calico Jack's for food and adult refreshments.

Lots of spots on Seven Mile Beach. Also Cemetary Beach. Grabbing the cab/minibus is very easy.

Is it easy to get a cab back the ship one it's time to leave? DH and myself will be on NCL Jewel in November and I was wondering what to do in Georgetown Grand Cayman. I would prefer to sit at the beach all day, but worry about getting a cab back to the ship when we want to leave.

They run bus taxis every few minutes back to the Port Authority area. Just head back to were you were dropped off - check with the driver just to be sure. You won't be alone. I believe Grand Cayman averages about 4 - 5 ships a day. Things can get very busy traffic wise, so leave yourself lots of time just in case.

Lots of cabs available, and buses. (Mini-buses, and they stop & pick up people.)

If you can get yourself to Sevin Mile Beach, I really recommend it! Absolutely beautiful!
