How Realisitic is a day trip to Anguilla w 5 ships in port?

Hi All. Just wondering your thoughts on a day trip from St. Maarten to Anguilla when there are 5 ships in port. We are docked from 9a.m - 6p.m. Love to hear your thoughts and or suggestions. We've seen the heavy traffic in St. Maarten previously but not sure how that affect a taxi ride from the ship to the ferry dock? Thanks in advance.....

To catch the 9:45 ferry to Marigot you will have had to be at the ferry dock before 9:30 to purchase your ticket. This isn't realistic with a 9:00 docking and about a 30 minute taxi ride at this time in the morning. The next ferry leaves at 10:30 with a scheduled arrival around 11:00 in Anguilla. You would have to be back at the pier no later than 5:30. I would want to leave Marigot no later than 4:00 because it's rush hour and there is a ship that will not wait leaving port at 6. If 11 -3 is enough time for you and worth the cost remember to bring your passport. Personally it wouldn't be worth it to me.
