Has anyone ever used a dive operator outside of the ship in Roatan? Are there any that are recommended?

Just so you know, the ship uses local dive operators too........

 

but yes, did our first one with West End Divers in West End Village. Did Seaquest shallow dive site. Awesome dive. So much so that we have now gone back to Roatan twice for one week vacations.....

 

for all of our land vacation dives we have used Infinity Divers located at Infinity Bay resort since that is where we have stayed. They have dives at 8:30 - 10:30 and 2:30 every day. Best dive shop we have dealt with ever.

Barefoot Divers is especially convenient if you are on a Carnival corp ship using Mahagony Bay. quite close and they cater their schedules to meet ships. Small dive boats and valet diving approach.

 

Edit: very similar to Inifinity in approach but much closer to Mahagony Bay.
