Fo those recently on the Epic, who or what replaced Slam Allen and was it still worthwhile? Thanks!

Charlie Love was on the Epic when we sailed in October (Slam was on vacation). He was okay. Worth a drop in (his keyboard player, Crystal was great)...but no Slam Allen.

I read here that Slam will be on Epic until Feb. 28. No idea who comes after.

 

Hope Slam will update his website so we'll know his Breakaway dates.:)

My understanding was that he would be permanently on the Breakaway like he was on the Epic. He is from New York so that should make seeing his family easier for him. He has a FB page but it is not active much.

I will go on the Breakaway just to have another week of his wonderful music. We spent some time every night in Fat Cats when we were on the Epic. Liked his shows better than any of the more publicized ones.

Thanks for the response. We sail March 23rd. I read that Slam Allen would no longer play on the Epic and was soooo disappointed. I was curious who took his place since we plan to spend some time in Fat Cats.

Anyways if you are thank you for your response when I emailed you in November to see if you would be on the Breakaway. Not often that you get responses from artists websites!
