jarz85 Posted February 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2013 Hi just a quick question... I'm planning 5 or 6 cruises in January/February 2014 as I want to try out all the different cruise lines. I'm a 28 year old male and would be travelling solo. Is this okay? I know this ships are full of families etc but from what I've seen on Google, I really want to check out a Disney ship.. everything looks so amazing and colourful! Will there be stuff for me to do on the ship? I notice the Roll Calls on here aren't very active... is there another site where Disney has roll calls? I just imagine being on the ship and having everyone stare at me because I have no kids haha!

For things to do: You can go to the shows, the movie theater, bingo, the bars, Palo. On my cruise there were comedy acts, magic shows. I must have looked like I had no kids too because the kids want to stay in the kids club 24/7 :)
Rare Scrapnana Posted February 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2013 There are plenty of things to do on a Disney ship. They have special adult areas on the ships, entertainment just for adults, and most of the bars stop allowing kids in after a certain hour. I spent most of my time during the day at the adults only pool/hot tubs/bar area.
chipq Posted February 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2013 With the success of the Disney youth program most will assume that your kids are attending the youth group activity. Go for it and have a great cruise. http://luv2cruise.blogspot.com
clwalkermn Posted February 23, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2013 I can also tell you that every day in the Navigator (daily newsletter) there is usually a get together for those on board that are sailing by themselves. We had a single friend with us once and he went to that every day and had fun.
