cruisingbooboo Posted February 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2013 Long story short, my RHD self destructed, I brought it to my tech guy and he recommended a data recovery specialist to attempt to get the data off. He didn't know of a local specialist but he said it can be attempted. My question for you is do you know of any locally Boston area or an online specialist. Thank you!!!! Rare Oviedo32765 Posted February 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2013 I did a Google search for Data Recovery Boston and this link is what I found. If it was me, I would call Data Recovery Boston and discuss the situation with them and get an estimate of the cost. I'd probably call a half dozen of the companies on the Google search results before making up my mind. Good luck with your recovery.

I have a few " feelers" out there, if they don't pan out I will start calling a few. Thanks!

Probably a bit late at this point, but... Go to website www.grc.com and check out the product SPINRITE. It can recover data you thought you lost. It might take a while, but I have used it quite a bit
