do I need a reservation?

I will be in CM on the Dream in March. There are 8 of us in the family who hope to have a terrific beach day in Muhalhual. I don't want to reserve something unless I will end up chair-less. Is is safe to just go by taxi and hope to find something with no prior reserving? There are 2 ships there that day. Thanks!

I hope this helps. If Muhalhual is were all the restaurant are you can walk up to them and ask them if they have any chairs left. But if you have a place on the beach that you want to be then I would make reservation.

I have been to Majahaul 3 times without reservations. As you exit the bus or taxi just keep walking until the crowds thin out and find a nice beach bar to relax. Tell the greeter you are a family and you will be buying food and drinks and he/she will set you up with tables and chairs. They should not charge you extra for the chairs. If they do just move on, plenty of competition !

Beach massages are just 25.00 for 1 hour !:) have fun !
