Fun group theme night

On my first cruise we had a night where everyone in our group had to show up with the wildest, craziest hat they could find and the winner won a prize and bragging rights.

 

I am part of a large group going again thought it would be fun to have a theme for one night where everyone can laugh and have a blast. The ship already does a 70's night etc.

 

What I am asking, does anyone out there have an idea of a fun theme night that doesn't cost an arm and a leg AND has to be kid friendly........ mostly.

How about a Gilligan's Island theme? Dress as one's favorite character and pick the best Gilligan, Skipper, etc.

We don't travel with the group but we have been on the same cruise as a multi-generational girl group that picks a theme for the weekend.

 

Last year it was Wedding. The matriarch of the group was the bride and everyone else was in the wedding party. (Good use for old bridesmaid dresses.)

 

This year it was Alice in Wonderland. We saw some very interesting Cheshire cats and some characters none of us could place.
