San Juan PR Shopping Malls on Sunday???

I will be in PR on a Sunday 26th Sept - where can I find a shopping mall?

Where is Plaza Las Americas located re: nearness to the port?
Is that the only/best mall to shop in?

Plaza Las Americas is not the only shopping mall, but it is the largest in the Caribbean and assumably "the best". The mall is probably twenty minutes by taxi from the port areas, depending on the traffic. (Do allow for the traffic!) If you're there on a Sunday, shops will be open only from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Barceloneta is also fairly close to San Juan (maybe 45-60 minutes from port), and has a mall with factory outlet stores.

Remember that Plaza Las Americas is only a 25 cent bus ride away from the pier and Old San Juan.
