That's a really bad timeframe for a visit, but if you really want to see the big planes landing at Maho then I would hustle to the taxi dispatch area and grab a taxi to the beach, paying extra so that you don't have to fill the vehicle if that's an option.

 

Around 3:00 or so you could head back to Philipsburg for some shopping/sightseeing or visit a bar or restaurant until back onto the ship.

Our last 3 stops there have been the same way...RCI.....

We catch a cab to Orient Beach, stay there till 4-5pm, then head back to front street although most shops are closed, then mill around the shops at the end of the pier until getting back onboard....

 

We have avoided Maho because of the times.....although we have been there, done that....
