logcabin Posted June 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2005 We leaving Sunday on the Dawn and I just read that Klaus is in Germany. Who has taken his place? How was the service? And, how was the new person. Last year, being that we stayed in a suite, Klaus was very good to us with little goodies each night, etc. We are staying in a suite this time also, but being that he isn't there, is his replacement as nice? LindaLa Posted June 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2005 They announced this at our Latitudes Party a few weeks ago. His second in command ( a woman whose name I do not remember) will be taking his place.
2Cruise4Ever Posted June 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2005 Her name is Tanja Bessel. She sent me an email this afternoon as a response to a question I had emailed Klaus about. Her title on the signature line of the email is "Acting Hotel Director." I hope she's at least half as good as Klaus is. If so, we'll be in good shape :)

shay1 Posted June 12, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 12, 2005 We just returned from the Wind and Hugo Vanosmael was filling in for the Hotel Director who was on vacation. We were told Hugo Vanosmael is the Hotel Director for the Dawn. I thought he said he would be going back to the Dawn in a couple of weeks. We really liked Hugo he is very friendly. We had the VIP treatment while on board and he had afternoon snacks delivered to our cabin on serval days other days the snacks were the compliments of the Concierge Simone Weigel.
