We will be in Cobh on Apex May 12 which is a Sunday 8am to 4pm. Do you know if there will be any Pubs open so my hubby can get his Guinness? We are looking forward to walking around and seeing the beautiful area of Cobh. We have watched a few YouTubes and it really looks interesting. Thank you.

Thank you all for taking the time to give us your opinions/advise on the best way to get to Gatwick. We will wait until we get to London to make our plans the day before we fly out to which way we will go. Probably take the Train (not the Gatwick Exp). I am looking forward to taking the train. Last time we rode the train in London was many, many years ago, we went to Hampton Court.

gumshoe958 Thank you for all your information. I watched a YouTube video today it was dated a year ago and they stopped and purchased ticket right at the turn style and paid the higher price. Glad to know it is cheaper to just use our contactless credit card. That makes a big difference in the price.

I googled it and some site that I checked showed that time. It was not the train schedule site I am sure. Thank you all for your answers. I have also had my sister that is going with us check on her Uber app what the cost would be from our hotel to Gatwick and when you add up the cost of Uber to Train and Train to Gatwick it appears to be almost the same. Is there something I am missing? We plan on leaving around 5:30 am or there about. Would appreciate your opinion on this. Thank you.

Hello, I need some help please for out transportation to the Gatwick airport after our TA cruise in May 2024. We plan to stay in London for a couple of days then fly one way back to Miami on Norse Atlantic airlines. The flight leaves at 10 am. We are staying in a hotel in Sussex Gardens area and I know if we take the train we will have to go to Victoria and take the Southern Train and it starts running I believe at 7:30 am. Here's where we need help we are 3 Adults over 50 and were not sure what will be the best way to get to Gatwick early enough, we are hoping to go to the Priority Lounge in the Southern Terminal before our flight if that helps with the timing. What time does the Taxis run and how much could the cost be to Southern Terminal Gatwick? How early does Uber run and are they reliable to pick us up and how much could the cost be? Thank you for any and all the help.

Thank you I was under the impression you have to put it on the rack outside the seating area. So where are you putting it that means you have it with you?

We are 3 Adults coming to London for 3 nights after our Transatlantic cruise from Florida. We have a deposit at the Mitre House Hotel, at Sussex Gardens, London. From the pictures and reviews it looks nice it can accommodate all 3 of us in the same room, with each having our own beds and not sleeper sofa, futons etc. Question we are considering taking the National Express Bus from Southampton to London. It goes to Victoria Station which is a long way from the hotel. We do not want to have to take our luggage down stairs to the tube what would be our best way to get to the hotel from Victoria Station? We will be arriving on a Wednesday in May. Would we be better taking the Train from Southampton? Thank you for your help.

Hello, We could use some advise on our travel from Southampton Cruise Port to London. We are 3 adults (70+) and we plan to take our own luggage off when we depart in Southampton. We will each have 1 carry on suit case with wheels and 1 backpack. We disembark on a Wednesday, in May probably around 7:30 to 8:00 am. We plan on staying in London for 3 nights. We currently have a deposit on a hotel in Sussex Gardens, London. If the weather is good when we depart we might be able to walk to bus or train station in Southampton. If we need to take a taxi will there be plenty available at the cruise port? And what is the usual rate. We were thinking of taking the bus since it would be easy with them putting the luggage in the hold area of the bus. We don't like the idea of putting our luggage in a rack outside of the sitting area on the train where we can't see it. From what I have found so far the bus will take us to Victoria Station which is not close to our hotel and we do not want to have to try and get our luggage down to the Tube Station. Would the train be a better choice and if so which one to where especially since this will be a week day and I am sure the early trains will be quite full. Thanks for your help.

Check out Bananarama they have chairs for rent on the beach, bathrooms, showers and you can snorkel from the beach. You can also check Paradise Beach Hotel they have day pass with chairs, use of the pool beautiful area and you can snorkel from the beach.

You are not allowed to take the coffee etc to go. As far as corkage fee we take a couple of bottles of wine and open in room. You can take your glass of wine with you when you leave your cabin. We have never had a problem. Ask your room steward for wine glasses and opener if you do not have one.

We had cabin 10235 we would book it again. Good location and quiet.

Finally finished with the nightmare of having our car flooded at Park N Go from our April 9th cruise on the Beyond. Our car was totaled after we got home and took it to the dealership. On the drive home we had symbols that came up saying to see your dealer. The water had done too much damage that our insurance company had totaled it. It was a shame we had less than 12,000 miles on our 2020 Honda Accord. It took over a month but we finally got our insurance settlement and just purchased our New Honda Accord. Still not sure I will use Park N Go again may use the port parking instead.

Just got home from Beyond Cruise and parking at Park N Go. Our car has flood damage!!! Floor boards are soaked, seats are wet. The whole inside windows were so wet when we got to our car you could not see in. Unbelievable never seen anything like it. Our car started but after getting on the road we had a couple of warning symbols pop up that said to contact your dealer, one is emission system problem and one is for supplemental restraint system problem. And of course the smell was not pleasant either. We were told to drive our car to the front and see the owner there for forms to fill out. When we did speak with the owner we did not find him to be sympathetic, all he said was we are in a No Fault state contact you insurance company. They didn't even try to dry the car out before we got back. I had to ask them to help and finally got one of the employees to try and vacuum the carpets, did not help the shop vac was not strong enough. I understand it is an act of God but it is heart breaking to see your car like this. Hope everyone else made it home safely.

I just wish when we asked to not have the FCC attached to our TA if it could not be done that he would have told us and not said he would. Glad to know that if we do another one we could ask TA to transfer it back to us. Thank you for your information. Better informed for next time.

Beware - When we did the Book Later we asked not to assign to our TA, he said he would take care of it. But after we got home a couple of months later when we tried to book using it we found out it was assign to the TA!

We did the Future Cruise Vacation (Book Later) while on Celebrity Reflection in December. The problem we had when we tried to book online with Celebrity and being told that it was connected with the TA we used to book the Reflection cruise, even though we requested it not be tied to that TA.I usually shop around before I book our cruises. What really upset us was the guy I spoke with at Celebrity that was trying to book our April 9 Beyond cruise kept trying to do it (I was on the phone with him for over 30 minuets) then he said he was sorry he could not., this was in the evening on the weekend. The next week day I called to speak with someone about our Future Cruise Vacation voucher and was transferred 3 times, while I was holding between the transfers I logged on to Celebrity to check my account and almost had a heat attack when I saw I had a booking for double the price that I had been given by the guy I first tried to book with on Celebrity. I was finally able to get that straighten out and got the same cabin booked at the price that had been given to me earlier. She was able to use the Future Cruise voucher. The trouble is the voucher they gave us only has the voucher number that you give when you book your next cruise after you get home, but it does not show that it is assigned to any TA (as we asked that it NOT be). I had also asked if I could assign this booking to a TA (a different one) that I had been working with to get the perks she was offering. I was told No it was too close to sailing. I was able to get Celebrity to give us an additional OBC that the TA was going to give us, so we are happy with our booking. I assume now that if we do the Future Cruise Vacation while on the Beyond it will not be assigned to a TA since it was booked through Celebrity. Is this correct. This was our first time doing this on Celebrity.

Can you explain where the Complimentary Cappuccino, latte, tea, expresso are? I know you can get this at the Elite Breakfast but this reads like it is another perk besides at the Breakfast. Thanks

So glad I found this post. We have booked this cruise without the Al and was wondering if there was anywhere we could get special coffee as Elite. Thank you for the information. We do plan on going to El Bacio while on board, we love this place. Any other Elite perks we can use, I know we are supposed to get free drinks between 5 to 7. Any tips on using this perk. We have not used the Elite perks before so anything else we should take advantage of please explain.

We were at Havensight pier in May and took the safari bus taxi to Sapphire Beach for $10pp one way. Just got back from Celebrity cruise and docked at Crown Bay and taxi price was quoted to us $17pp one way!! We did not get off the ship in St Thomas this time. This is ridiculous price increase.

This will be our 1st time parking offsite at Port Canaveral and looking for a good, safe and convenient parking place. We will be coming from the direction of Orlando to board the Independence ship. If you have a best route recommendation from Orlando to Port Canaveral I would appreciate it. On the way home taking I95 to St Rd 70 back to Bradenton. Thanks
