SydneyD'Augstralia Posted March 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Hello all - I've searched but cannot find a definitive answer. Where are the proposed smoking areas on Breakaway other than the Humidor and Casino? Is there a Promenade deck? Pool deck? Allowed? I am thinking of booking the TA, but, since I will be solo, I have to consider an inside cabin and will have to seek out the spaces. Yes, I know smoking is a bad habit, yes, I'm aware some people are bothered by it, so we don't really need to go into all that here. I would just like to know where I should book my cabin for easy access to the right place. Thank you for your consideration and advice.
time2cruise1 Posted March 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Like all Ncl ships smoking on all outdoor decks away from food or kids areas. Normally one side of the ship only. So yes you will find areas on the pool deck, promenade, Spice H2O etc.
whenisthemidnightbuffet? Posted March 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Since deck 8 has the smoking room an inside on this floor should be convenient I would think for running down the hall especially for a quick smoke with morning cup of Joe
SydneyD'Augstralia Posted March 2, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Thank you very much for you very civil and informative replies.....as of now all IS and OV are GTY....I'm not sure I want to roll the dice...solo prices on the lowest balconies are equivalent to the per person fare on our first OS on Star:eek: Suffering from solo sticker shock.:p But I sure do love new ship smell...;) Let's see... babygirl722 Posted March 2, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2013 What about the studio rooms? Weren't they designed and priced with the single traveler in mind?
SydneyD'Augstralia Posted March 3, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted March 3, 2013 What about the studio rooms? Weren't they designed and priced with the single traveler in mind? As a marketing ploy, yes. Whenever I've checked, for various cruises, it's equal to or more than an inside priced for one. On this one, the diff is 120.
