Luggage to airport

Does anyone know if you can have your luggage taken off the Star in San Pedro to LAX done by Princess. We've had it done on some cruises but the last 2 they didn't do it just wondering if it depends on the ship or not. Thanks

It's called "EZ Check" and is offered in a few ports for a few airlines, so it depends on the port.

 

Your final destination must be in the US. Cost is $20/pp; for that, Princess checks you in for your flight, prints your boarding pass and luggage tag. You put your luggage out the night before disembarkation and you don't see it until you arrive at your destination.

 

Having said all that, I don't know if it's offered in San Pedro. It's not offered in Galveston.

Thanks Pam I couldn"t remember what it was called but it sure is nice to do the ez check. I know my last 2 cruises did not have it so i was just wondering if any of them do it anymore but thanks for the info.

We disembarked there in January and there was no use of EZ Check. Sorry. Hope this doesn't mess your cruise up!

Is it available in San Francisco? We've used it several times in other ports, and it's so convenient. We have a late flight out of SFO, and if there's no Easy Check we'll have to find a place to leave our luggage for the day.

DW & I are signed up for a 'Post cruise package'. This is where we put our luggage out the night before and pick it up at baggage pick-up at your destination airport.. Worked great for our cruise out of Seattle. Flew back to Detroit with no problems..

Forgot to add that we are on the Star 4/23 for RT LA to Hawaii. Using the post cruise pkg on this trip...
