Vasa Museum temporary closure

Recommended Posts

The Vasa Museum will be temporarily closed for reconstruction from Mar 18-April 30. See: http://www.vasamuseet.se/en/About/News/Reopening-1-May/

They are trying to accommodate more visitors.

EXHIBITION HALL AND MORE SPACE

The new building will accommodate a hall for temporary exhibitions, a new shop, service areas for the public and a new entrance hall with more space for visiting groups – with improved access to accommodate all visitors regardless of any disability they may have.

I'm glad they will be able to accommodate more visitors. There will be 3 large ships in port the day we are there and in May they don't open until 10:00.
