Port of Ocho Rios a few questions

I will be in Ocho Rios from 11am to 6pm on a cruise. I booked a tour

 

11:30 AM - 5:00 PM Bob Marley Bus Adventure. I assume right after we

 

will not have any time we will need to board the ship by 5:30 I pressume ?

 

I was wondering what the port area is like ? Is there anywhere we can use

 

wifi while in port quickly before or after our tour ? Is there a shooping area

 

in the port ? I have no idea what to expect. Has anyone been on the Bob

 

Marley Bus Adventure tour ? Will I be able to shop anywhere ? I would like

 

to buy some rum cream, coffee and maybe some local crafts? Any tips

 

about the tour ? Did you like it ? I have read alot of reviews already and I

 

CANT WAIT ! :)

I will be on the same cruise, the Breeze April 21! I've been to Ocho Rios before but haven't taken that tour. I do know of 2 places for Wifi. Margaritaville and there is a place right off the ship on the left, sort of an internet café.

Right off the pier are a lot of local vendors and there is plenty of shopping right down the street.

There are some great reviews of this tour on Trip Advisor. Kind of a mixed bag of reviews. We were thinking of doing it but after reading the reviews it does not sound like the place to go with our kids despite the fact that they love Bob Marley.

We're on that same cruise as well. We booked the Jewel AI Resort to spend the day at. Cannot wait!

We were there in February. After doing the Falls we went to Margarittaville. The wi/fi wasn't very good there. After we walked towards the pier and there was a little bar at the end just before the gates that had great wi/fi (and cold beer) - sorry don't know the name of it. There is also some gift and a liquor stores just before you get to the bar.
