Which drink gives the most bang for the buck?

Onboard I would have to say go to the martini tasting.

Off the ship, I can tell you that if you go to Jack's Shack in Grand Turk and get the Sandy Vagina, you will be silly in NO TIME. I am definitely not a stranger to alcoholic beverages but just ONE of those drinks had me snockered.

Me TOO!!! We had to help/drag a guy back to the ship that had three of them. :D

Hello, I will be on the Valor in May on my first cruise and I have a question regarding doing this and I apologize in advance if its not proper forum etiquette to post my question here but i usually drink citron and water in a tall glass with a lemonade crystal lt packet mixed in, so the obvious smart choice -so it would seem- is to buy a bottle or two from bon voyage and bring a couple boxes of crystal light versus paying $6 for each drink.

However I'm slightly confused...am I able to take my drinks out of my room? If so, I have no problem using plastic water bottles for my drinks. That being said, will I be able to bring several with me at time or will I need to go back to my room every time I need a new one drink?

Also, is water readily available? Like could I take my empty water bottle and put a shot or two and a crystal light packet and have a bartender fill it with water?

Thanks for your help!

I know it was already answered but what we do is we bring sports bottles for the beach to bring a beverage and just put them in my backpack before we leave for shore.

As far as the glassware I usually go to the bar before it opens and grab a couple of glasses from the bar back and take them to our cabin for the days use.You can even take your drink to dinner with you if you want

Yes, you can take your pre-made drinks out of your room and anywhere on the ship.

P.S. Have you tried the new Ocean Spray to-go packets? Cran-Pomegranate, Cran, Cran/Lemonade? They are pretty good...Citron, Cran & splash of lemonade. And not loaded with sugar & calories.

Thanks for the info! This actually makes me very happy to hear bc I really dont like to drink anything other than water/crystal lt with my vodka! And no, I have not tried that but it sounds great so I will be! Thanks for the tip :)

Thanks for the info! Ill have to pick a couple of the sports bottles up. I am curious though, are you saying you take water or alcohol to the beach? Sometimes I take vodka in a water bottle but only to the pool in my condo complex (no glass allowed).

All of the Long Beaches, Adios Amigos/MF, Tokyo Tea, Gators, Beverly Hills, or whatever your favorite variation is, are all considered for billing purposes to be the same as Long Island Ice Tea and all will get you the $5 match play in the casino. Which in my book is like getting a tasty strong drink with a $5 rebate and if you play smart could end up paying for the drink. My favorite is the Long Beach and Adios MF (my friend).

I pack a sleeve of plastic cups. Not the red Solo cups but the clear ones. Looks a lot less redneck than the red ones :D. Mix a drink in the cabin and walk anywhere with it and just pitch it in the trash when done. I didn't mix all my drinks in them, just the ones I made "to go" unless I already had a glass from another drink.

Yes we bring our own to the beach ,its alot cheaper than buying drinks from the beach bars and I can make my drinks the way I like them

For example when we go to Grand Cayman we pack our backpack for the beach and I put a sports bottle with rum and another with ginger ale and take a taxi to the beach. If I we need more soda we just go and order a $3 soda not an $8 or $9 drink

Ewww thats not very classy ;) just kidding

We pretty much do the same but I get some bar glasses and wander around with it until im done my drink and either head back to the cabin for a refill or just put it by a slot machine or on a table and staff will pick it up
