Parental Ok

Recommended Posts

My upcoming cruise will be my 3rd. Hubby does not like to go so I and our 14yr old will be going alone. Last year we went on cruise but had booked the whole family. Long story short hubby was not able to go, just me and kids. We never got questioned or asked for documentation on taking them, is this sometimes enforced, not really enforced or was it a different situation since hubby did not go but had been booked?

The key is it CAN be enforced at any time. You got lucky the last time and didn't get asked and quizzed about why you were taking your minor child out of the country without their father. Better safe than sorry - have the letter!
