Bad things happen in 3's so Carnival is fine now. I leave 2 weeks from today on the Breeze and I am not worried at all. Now is probably the best time to sail :) See you all somewhere out at sea HAPPY CRUISING....

3,4,5 incidents remember in life things happen roll with it. The glass can be half empty or half full. I will cruise, fly, drive my car walk outside with no worries. The other nice thing is for all the people that don't get on a cruise ship its just means more room for me at the POOL LOL. Have a great day at SEA :)

Yes Elation has to be included in the mix since it did have a mechanical issue and had a tugboat escort. ;)

So next up is #6....and all things do happen in 3's...

Happy Cruising...:D

If Elation is included, we are already at 6.

What do you mean, Splendor nets? We're they drag fishing for swordfish?

A couple of cruises before its current journey around the horn, some fishing nets got caught up in the propulsion mechanisms somewhere, and they ended up stuck in PV to perform the repairs, and ended up arriving late as it took longer than expected. Actually, I think it headed to Hawaii first after that.

No swordfish were harmed or eaten in this exercise.

Ok, we'll that is a legit seagoing issue.

Don't forget the Destiny...it had various propulsion and air cond problems over the years

I was on it 2x...and worse the 2nd, so many things wrong, including the air cond....really shoddy ship that hopefully will be better after a much needed gutting and total renovation

Destiny had problems with plumbing, air cond for years...when she was sailing out of San Juan, and then when doing shorter cruises out of Miami

Then "missing ports">> at various times

I found the Carnival Freedom to be one of the best "upkept" Carnival ships....Imagination also was always "ship shape"

Although the Destiny name change is apparently casting a dark shadow over CCL at the moment, the latest issue with her was the side thrusters just before she did her TA.
