Time change on ship

This was the first time we were told to change our watches on board the ship. Told to go back 1 hr. To me it was very confusing and I did not know this when I booked our independent tours. Anyone know why Carnival has decided to do this? I have cruise probably 8 other time and this was a first for me, any other lines doing it?

It depends on the time of year and itinerary. I have been on ships that changed and others that have not but this is not something new.
