ShanteS Posted March 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2013 I originally booked my cruise using a Resident Rate and when Carnival had the "sale" last week I was able to get a reduction in price. Today I see they have another sale going on and the Resident Rate is a little cheaper (about $20) but the Past Guest Rate is about $70 cheaper. Since I qualify for both rates can I call and get the Past Guest rate? I know you can get price reductions and OBCs etc. for ES but can I get them with Resident and Past Guest Rates? montekat Posted March 18, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2013 I was originally booked into an inside cabin, then upgraded to a balcony 3 days ago on a sale they were having then for a price difference of $100. Today I saw the past guest sale for even less with very decent upgrades. I called, was on the phone for over an hour. I was able to move from deck 6 to Lido deck and got $60 OBC. Took a long time, but well worth it. Hope you have good luck also.

Looks like you are outside of final payment, so I would say yes.
