Boardwalk bed arrangement, which is better?

Recommended Posts

I've done a search and figured out how to find out if your bed will be near the closet or the balcony. Like many, I prefer the bed near the balcony because it makes the room feel bigger.

But in a Boardwalk balcony, might it be more preferable to have the bed near the closet? If you have the sheer drapes drawn (and not the second opaque drape) during the day, is it harder for people across the way to see you sleeping in your room if the bed is near the closet? I'm prepared to have people staring at me when I'm sitting on the balcony, but was wondering if there would be some semblance of privacy in the "back" of the room near the closet if just the sheer drapes are drawn. That way we could still get some sunlight into the room without having to draw the heavier drape.
