How best to pay for things

What are your recommendations? Cash, credit card, travellers checks? Anything we should know?

Bring Credit Cards for big purchases; jewerly, shopping in general, lunch ect. Bring Cash for small items; tips, taxis, little souvenirs, t-shirts, bottle of water or drink... You might take some travelers checks if you aren't comfortable carrying a lot of cash and rather spilt it half/half cash and travelers checks - they are widely accepted here.

Bubba.... Before we leave for our cruise, we send ourself a large cabin credit. .... as you would send someone a gift of cabin credit.

We then withdraw cash at the casino... and use cash everywhere. It is safe this way. The theft issue with credit card numbers is getting a little out of hand. ....

I do not worry this way.
