Capri73 Posted March 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2013 If we pre book some excursions and then decide for whatever reason we want to cancel do they charge anyway?:)
Emdee Posted March 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I believe that you can cancel but there is a time limit not sure if its 24 hours or 48 hours so suggest you call PG cruises for that.
Capri73 Posted March 19, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Looking over the excursions.I believe 3 side days are beach days at an hotel.Does PG take you to their own private beach at no:) additional cost??

Rare Familygoboston Posted March 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2013 On our cruise you could cancel an excursion 24 hours in advance, but generally, if you had an 8 AM departure, you'd want to cancel 2 days in advance rather than chance missing the 8AM cutoff the day before your departure time. Best to check each excursion once you board, since possibly different ones have different cutoff times??
Tikiintahiti Posted March 20, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2013 I tell people to cancel 48 hours in advance because it can get a bit tricky. The offical policy states, "To avoid cancellation penalties, the Travel Concierge Desk should be notified prior to the closing deadline, which is 12:00 noon the day before the tour departs." So lets say you have a tour departure set for 1:30 pm the following day. You decide to cancel at 1:00 pm. Though it is over 24 hours until the tour departs you still have officially missed the cut off time. Either go by a 48 hour cancellation or know the policy well. ;)
